The media team has been looking at the RE lessons for the year 6’s here at St. Mary’s College. We interviewed a few year 6’s and asked them about their feelings towards RE.
First we asked them what’s good about RE at St. Mary’s, how do they think RE will help them in the future and then why do they think that RE is so important for them to learn.
They told us that it’s important to learn about different religions and how different people live their lives. They also said that it will help them learn more things about RE in the future. Most said that RE is really fun to learn about but a small amount of others didn’t agree.
And remember the St. Mary’s mission statement –
“Love God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength and love your neighbour as you love yourself.”
