Karen Pickering, former freestyle swimmer, is coming to St. Mary’s College to talk to you! Karen has won over 70 medals, held a world record twice and has received an MBE for services to swimming. Karen, who is the sports ambassador for Ipswich in Suffolk, is coming here to inspire the new year sevens in their transition year and hopefully encouraging them to participate in sporting activities.
She has her own swimming school and hopes you take part in the sport that she loves.
